Having completed all my Research and Planning, such as research into different audience's (survey's, graphs), storyboards and animatics, Ident influences and ideas, Titles research and mock examples, similar film types, vox pops, recce's and general internet research, I certainly feel as though I am ready for the filming stage. We want to film a fair amount over the Christmas break in order for us to start editing as early as possible.
For the filming stage, we will be using a HD camera, a directional mike, tripod and clapperboard, microtrack and various battery lights (lighting is very important in our opening sequence). We will want to film lots of extra footage in order for us to more than one choice of shot when it comes down to the editing stage of the process. We have plans for what we want each shot to look like but obviously some of these might not plan out and so we will make sure we are prepared for this.
