Montage Concerns

I am particularly concerned about the Montage, which is commonly used at the end of every trailer. Due to the fact that we are not a high-budget production, I am concerned that our attempt at making a slick, fast-paced montage will look amateurish and thus bring the quality of our trailer down. One way in which we have looked to deal with this problem is by emphasising the issues within our main character more drastically and thus causing the trailer to be more character based as seen in the 'Memento' trailer for example. This will allow us to cut down the length of the final montage, which I think will improve the quality of our trailer in the long run. We are interested in showing a wide variety of different shots, which, at the same time will hopefully tell the audience a lot about our main character.
